Microsoft Office 365 Planner enables teams to collaborate on their projects using lightweight and intuitive UI and benefit from all the functionality available for Office 365 Groups like Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Skype, etc. However, it is missing advanced reporting capabilities, and it looks that reporting is not on a roadmap for the Planner. Companies and teams who use Planner face a challenge – relocate valuable internal resources in pursuit of the needed custom reporting solution, or switch to a more advanced, but also much more complex alternatives.
