Can the data downloaded by FluentBooks be used with any other application?
No. The files created by FluentBooks after data download are in a proprietary file extension and can only be used with FluentBooks.
Does the data I download or upload with FluentBooks end up on FluentPro’s or any other servers?
No. All data processing takes place in a PC/laptop/VM where FluentBooks is installed.
Is there a limit as to how many projects/sites, etc. I can process with FluentBooks?
No. There is no such limit.
Can upload and download with FluentBooks be automated or scheduled to start?
Yes, but to a very limited extend. Command Line Interface can be used for regular and simple actions, such as partial migration of PWA configuration and PWA configuration comparison. It is not intended for full migrations since it does not support many of the standard and additional features.
Can FluentBooks be used for creation of bulk updates of a Project Schedule?
No. FluentBooks supports the bulk update of project information, resource pool, lookup tables, custom fields, enterprise project types, and administrative time.
Does FluentBooks work on Mac or Linux?
No. FluentBooks only runs on Windows.
Can FluentBooks run on a PC/laptop/VM without the access to the Internet?
Yes. FluentBooks can work offline with Project Server instances through intranet, but not with Project Online.
