Business Case
Most PMOs and Portfolio Managers prefer Microsoft Project Online for its enterprise project management features, such as advanced resource planning and portfolio visibility. However, on the execution level many teams continue using lightweight work and project management tools such as Office 365 Planner which offer an easy and visually rich approach to team management.
Everybody would be happy if there was a visibility and common data flow across these two tools, so that executives could push high-level project plans straight to Microsoft Planner and teams wouldn’t need to report their progress in Project Online.
